Just watch out for sudden torrential rain...
I feel like I blinked and suddenly my Little One was old enough to take on a brunch date, without having to carry 5000 little things from diapers to every little toy she owns.
In my 20's and 30's, Dudleys was always my go-to brunch place with girlfriends on Sunday mornings... specifically to debrief on the night before. To this day, I still don't understand how we'd go out all night and still be good to meet for brunch just a few hours later... to think of all that time sleeping in I could have been doing...
This past Sunday I took my Little One for brunch at Dudleys! It started with a super fast bus ride on the SBS M15 up to the LES. I swear it took 6 minutes on the bus to get there from the Seaport!
Everything on the menu is delicious, but our go-to order
- Breakfast sandwich
- Fries
- Brussels sprouts
- Ricotta pancakes
- Banana bread
- Coffee
It sort of kills me to have to order the pancakes - personally I love my own way more - but if my Little One sees pancakes on the table next to us, we have to get them.
Get a seat inside and by the window, it's more comfy than sitting outside, but you get the breeze and feeling of being outside. Not to mention your Little One will be more contained!
For the first time ever, my Little One asked to come back next week! I feel like I created my own brunch buddy!!
