It's probably not what you think...
I fully expect I may lose a few of you with this post..
It's not super exciting, but can I please declare my love for Trilogy Photo Lab on Chambers street?
This family run store is a genuine, local treasure that must be protected at all costs.
I wish I could say I come here all the time, but the reality is that I come for passport and visa photos (you'd be surprised how many times I've had to get them done!).
Every time I leave, I promise myself I need to stop by more often to buy frames and develop photos on my phone. I don't though.
But I will now! And I hope you do too.
So this is my neighborhood post to rally everyone to visit Trilogy Photo to get your admin done (passport photos!) and treat your family (and extended family) to printed photos of the family.
Also - i've never seen anyone get a bad passport photo when they've visited, not to mention that every time i'm in there, all the customers are the nicest and fun people in the neighborhood. Not to mention that now my Little One wants to stop for a lollipop each time we walk past.
I miss Kings pharmacy that used to be in Tribeca. I really hope this place doesn't have the same fate one day.
Melissa
P.S. can you tell that i'm desperate for activities to do during these cold winter months?! Getting admin like passports done have been the highlight of our weeks these days.
This place is going to make me hungry... you can buy the fun stuff online, but I'm more excited to take my Little One to the store to 'shop' groceries this weekend. I hope she chooses the faux butter... it's cute and on brand for me!
You get to join a workshop where you create your own pints of ice cream. Do I have two ice cream machines at home already? Yup... But I love a good curated activity for date night
I'm the first to admit that I'm behind with the times. I downloaded this app over a year ago after one of the 'kids' I work with told me about it.
I only realized it was still on my phone a week ago and realized it's perfect for figuring out where to eat these days. Guess i've just been the lame one that still skims google reviews (... yet never writes one!)
This might be the lamest thing i've recommended in a while - however with all the crumbs that end up on my laptop (... I can't always blame my Little One either), this thing is a life saver. I caved and realized I needed it when my 'space' bar decided it couldn't work with a cookie crumb lodged inside.
Yes I recommended a goldbelly thing last week (which btw... HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING FRANKLINS BRISKET DELIVERED), however I also got these Montreal style bagels and they are phenomenal.
I saw they have a 25% off deal going right now, so i'm buying more to stock in my freezer.
Just remember to slice the bagels before freezing to make life easier later on!
