Who knew that I would enjoy kimchi at a three year old level?!

Local Mom, Anna Park wrote an adorable children's book called Nabi Park Tries Kimchi about a little girl discovering her roots and love for kimchi.

Not only is it an adorable story to read with your Little Ones, but it also gives a recipe for making Kimchi at home!

This week we were lucky to have Anna teach us how to make Kimchi - absolutely fun and delicious!! Highly recommend this as an after school activity one day. The hardest part is waiting two days for it to be ready to eat!!

Anna's book is available for pre-order on Amazon!

Shakespeare in the Park

I used to love lining up to get tickets. Do they still do that? I genuinely have no idea. I'm not sure my Little One is old enough to sit through a performance just yet, so I'll be trying to convince a friend to come with me!

What Saved my sanity this week...

Figgy playcouch

We're really into 'building' our own house here in the apartment and this is by far is proving to be one of the best investments I've made. Bonus points - I use it as a spare bed for guests - throw a mattress topper on top and you have a super comfy bed!

What the Crap - Toilet Paper

Didn't think I'd see the day where I'm recommending toilet paper on here, but here we are! We've been using the bamboo one for over a year now and haven't looked back.
