... I think?!

There's no shortage of Aussie style cafes in our neighborhood.

I dare say Black Fox is also one!? Actually, don't quote me on that. But two reasons why I think it is an Aussie establishment:

  1. They sell lamingtons
  2. They sell my favorite breakfast ever - toasted ham and cheese croissant

Now, I'm not a fan of their lamingtons (you know I'm picky with baked goods! plus it's gluten free... lamingtons shouldn't be gluten free!), but I do love their toasted ham and cheese croissant. It's my guilty pleasure, and typically my first cafe order when I visit Australia.

Anyway - Black Fox is my secret weapon on a cold weekend morning and I'm struggling with something to do. Is it too simple to highlight in a newsletter? Maybe!

Definitely get

  • Toasted ham and cheese croissant
  • BEC sandwich
  • Kouign Amann

Skip

  • Chocolate chip cookie (dry and can find better)
  • Blueberry muffin (has a little artificial taste, just a smidge)

We love to sit by the window and people watch. My life goal is for my Little One to quietly paint while I sit and read the paper or a book.... we're not close to being there yet!

It's an odd one this week, but this pouch has been a game changer for keeping my Little One's paper, watercolors, pencils and pens in one small bag that is perfect for taking to the restaurant and fits perfect in your handbag.

What I am watching ...

Nobody Wants This - Season 2

I'm not proud of myself, but I binged this within the first week of it coming out, after swearing I wasn't going to watch the second season. What can I say? I'm a sucker for 'romantic comedies'.
